Hmm.. What do I need?

All writers have to start with something. However, that doesn't mean you should give up if you don't have one of these qualities; that just means you have to develop these before you start. Never give up!

You will need before you write:

• A writers notebook- Any notebook will do. You just have to write down your ideas that you may not recall later, so carry it around with you!
• The love to learn- If you hate learning, how are you going to learn to be a better writer?
• Passion- Have to keep at it to get where you want to be don't you?
• Imagination and Creativity- It's essential that you are able to think at least with a toe outside the box.
• Knowledge- There needs to be something in that noggin to begin with!

What you will need to develop along the way:

• More Imagination and Creativity! -You need to find you way to the full extent of your imagination and create what you see.
• More Knowledge...- With that love of learning you've got you're going to get it whether you like it or not really.
• Flow- the flow of your writing
• Gramatical Skills- punctuation, subject-verb agreement, etc.
• The ability to play with words and language- don't give follow exact given rules; play with it a little.
• And more! (Don't let this intimidate you: you learn as you live. Just let it come naturally)
